We are truly excited to begin the realization of the project reSTART, working together with Foundation Ukraine, Wroclaw Agglomeration Development Agency, Wroclaw Centre of Social Development and Culture Kaleidoscope. Thanks to the project, we will be fostering a better, cross-cultural integration of immigrants from third countries (outside the UE) with Polish society.

We are just about to start, and our schedule is already filled with events for the next 3 years!
We kindly invite all of you to participate in the activities, the list of which is presented on the left side.

For more information concerning the programme and a full list of the planned events, please visit the website of the Foundation Ukraine.

For immigrants

Polish language course

For whom: immigrants outside the UE, the minimum age is 18
Enrollment: continuous, apply now!
Limit of participants: 144
Language of instruction: English

We kindly invite you to participate in our Polish language course. The classes will be conducted by the team of our experienced teachers, known for their passion and innovative attitude to teaching. The classes will be interesting and energetic, as instead of teaching in front of a blackboard, our teachers prefer the form of engrossing language workshops. No chance for being bored, then!

The courses will take place in Wrocław and other cities of Low Silesia. Each course will consist of 128 hours of the classes. As we aim to make the course available also for people who work daily, the courses will be held in the late-afternoons or evenings. However, morning courses will be possible too, as soon as there is a group of participants available in the mornings.

The participation fee is only 3 PLN per hour.

The meetings with the employers and consultations with a career coach

For whom: immigrants from outside the UE interested in working in Poland, the minimum age is 18
Enrollment: the 2nd quarter of 2020, the dates will be updated shortly
Limit of participants for the meetings with the employers: 300
Limit of participants for consultations with a career coach: 500
Language of instruction: English

We kindly invite you to participate in our original meetings with the employers who will describe the specifics of their companies and their economic sectors. They will talk about skills and qualifications that are expected from the candidates, indicate the most desirable job positions on the job market and summarize the recruitment process.

The citizens of third countries interested in working in a certain industry will also receive information about the possibilities of obtaining certain qualifications. Moreover, they will learn to create a reasonable plan of their career path.

The participants will be provided with time to ask questions to our specialists.  The participation in the meetings is free of charge. The events will be organized in Wrocław and other cities of Lower Silesia.

At the same time, we invite you to contact our career coach during their office hours, who will provide the participants with some additional information concerning e.g. labour law, writing CV, courses and other forms of professional activity.

For employers

Training courses for the employers interested in employing immigrants from outside the UE

For whom: employers from Lower Silesia
Enrollment: the 1st quarter of 2021
Number of courses: 22, 6 hours long each
Language of instruction: Polish

All the companies intending to employ immigrants from outside the UE are invited to participate in dedicated training courses. A team of experienced trainers will talk about the techniques of building a friendly, multicultural team. The cultural and communication differences will be discussed, along with varying sets of values and efficient ways of integration.

A separate block of the events will be devoted to the essential formal and legal issues connected with employing foreigners from third countries.

We strongly recommend the training to the managers of international teams and companies which seek improvement  basing on deficient occupations. However, regardless of the industry, all employers willing to employ workers from outside UE will find the course interesting and useful.

For students and schools

Integration and educational workshops for students – the recruitment for secondary schools in Lower Silesia is open

For whom: youngsters from secondary schools in Lower Silesia
Enrollment: the 2nd quarter of 2020, if interested please contact us
via e-mail: restart.workshop@modefoundation.com

Limit of participants: 600
Language of instruction: English

We kindly invite secondary schools from Lower Silesia to work together with us. Once invited to your outpost, we can conduct our original integration and educational workshops about multicultural world: 12 hours of workshops which stimulate students through entertaining games and exercises. Depending on the conditions, the workshops can be conducted over the course of 2 or 3 days on the territory of schools.

We have already organized similar workshops in more than 20 Polish schools, always receiving positive feedback from students. This time, however, we will improve the form of the workshops –  each and every group will enjoy the company of youngsters from outside the UE. Our volunteers come from all over the world (we have already hosted people not only from the UE, but also from Brazil, Indonesia or Vietnam).

The workshop programme includes educational elements which are aimed at broadening awareness of multicultural differences, but also comprises elements which shape certain attitudes, such as: tolerance, openness to other cultures, willingness to start relationships, understanding the value of international dialogue and confronting the obstacles connected to it.

Project reSTART is co-financed by the financial resources of the National Fund of Refuge, Migration and  Integration, and the State Budget.
