The European Solidarity Corps helps young people to develop professionally and to find their place in the labor market. By emphasizing the European dimension of solidarity, the program offers young people unique opportunities to develop interpersonal skills and acquire new knowledge, which benefits both them and the society.
The program enables young people aged 18 to 30 to develop their interests, engage in activities for the benefit of others, and take the first steps in their professional career. The objectives of the program are focused on solidarity activities. The aim of the program is to involve young people in projects that promote European values, democracy, citizenship, and social solidarity.
The European Solidarity Corps enables young people to participate in three different types of activities. The first are Volunteering Projects, which allow you to go abroad and take part in activities that help others and in the work of non-governmental organizations. These projects can also be realized in Poland. Second type of activity are traineeships and jobs. They make it possible to gain professional experience in a Polish or foreign institution active in a field related to the solidarity sector. The third and last type, Solidarity Projects, supports the realization of local initiatives in cooperation with various types of institutions, organizations, and local authorities.
